Officials Oppose Mega Camp in Historical Park

Local officials, including Delegates George Miller and Darren Thorne (reported here), and the Morgan County Commission (Letter to Chief of Parks), voice opposition to the proposal, citing traffic, safety, environmental, and infrastructure concerns.

With news that CEO of Blue Water was in talks with a mid-Atlantic governor about the deal before it was legal, Delegate George Miller said he will ask Attorney General Patrick Morrisey to investigate the deal.

Citizens raise concerns about the legality of the upcoming public hearing, as it reportedly does not meet the requirements of the state’s open meeting law.
